A community-based counseling agency serving the people of the San Joaquin Delta Region.
Valley Community Counseling Services (VCCS) is a private, non-profit corporation providing a variety of counseling, therapy, and educational services to county residents. Services are provided to individuals, families, couples, and groups. Consulting and training are also available. VCCS offers a no-cost child trauma treatment program for children who have been victims of sexual and/or physical abuse, as well as children who have been traumatized by living in homes where there has been drug abuse and/or domestic violence. Services are also available for the families of these children, and the agency operates a domestic violence and anger management program.  Counseling is also available to people with substance abuse problems, both self-referred and court-referred, including those who have received DUI tickets.
VCCS is committed to improving the caliber of mental health services by offering training, supervision, and consultation, as well as employing the most creative and skillful staff.
